Emma’s stay at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, was cut short due to the EHV-1 outbreak that originated in Valencia. Currently, all international events on mainland Europe have been cancelled by the FEI due to the EHV-1 outbreak and horses arriving to their homes from the Sunshine Tour are now in mandatory quarantine.

All of Emma’s horses performed great during the three weeks in Vejer. During week one, Homey jumped clear in two of the CSI3* 1.45m classes and Dior had one time fault in the CSI3* 1.50m counting for the world ranking. Homey followed up with another two clear rounds in the CSI4* 1.45m classes in the second week of competition, while in week three, Dior was again clear on the fences in the CSI4* 1.50m class. L-Epsom Shutterfly and N-Balourouge de Semilly jumped several clears in the 1.40m classes, and Diva also did some smaller rounds in what was supposed to be the build up towards the last three weeks of the tour.
